Leicester High School for Girls' Year 7 Enjoys Residential Trip

Year 7 students recently undertook a residential trip to the Hilltop Outdoor Activity Centre in Sheringham on the picturesque North Norfolk Coast.

The trip was a blend of educational and fun-filled activities aimed at encouraging teamwork and learning.

The trip began with pool games and Geography fieldwork preparation. The students later bravely took on challenges such as conquering the High Ropes Course and soaring through the air on the Zip Line, with their friends cheering them on every step of the way. Highlights included having a go at archery, mountain biking, and their trip to the beach, observing coastal processes.

Evenings were filled with activities, including team games. The students capped off each day with hot chocolate and a good night's rest.

The Year 7 students' positivity and teamwork on this trip were truly amazing," shared Mrs. McCarthy, one of the teachers who joined them. "Seeing them support each other was wonderful and added to their adventure experience."

The school thanks the dedicated teachers and staff who made the trip possible. Explore Year 7 at Leicester High School for Girls, for further insights.
