Double Finalist at Independent Schools Awards 2025

Leicester High School for Girls is delighted to announce that it has been named a finalist for two categories in the national Independent Schools of the Year 2025 Awards:

  • Rising Star of the Year

  • Independent Girls’ School of the Year

Out of hundreds of entries from across the UK, Leicester High is one of only three schools to be named a finalist in two categories. This recognition celebrates the School’s commitment to nurturing confident, resilient young women, underpinned by strong values and outstanding teaching.

Headmaster, John Partridge, commented:

"To be named a finalist in two categories at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards is an incredible honour. This achievement is the result of the dedication of our staff, the encouragement of our families, and above all, the talent and character of our girls. We are immensely proud to see Leicester High recognised on a national stage."

The Independent Schools of the Year Awards celebrate the very best in independent education across the country. The 2025 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 14 October 2025, to which Leicester High School for Girls has been invited.

Regardless of the outcome, the School is already proud to be recognised nationally for the unique education and opportunities it offers to every student.
