Year 2 Take Flight at East Midlands Aeropark
Our Year 2 girls enjoyed an exciting visit to East Midlands Aeropark this week, bringing their learning to life with a close-up look at the fascinating world of aviation.
The girls explored a range of aircraft, learnt more about how planes work and discovered how aviation has changed over the years. A particular highlight was the chance to climb aboard a plane and sit in the pilot’s seat – prompting plenty of excitement and lots of questions!
The visit was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to take their learning beyond the classroom, encouraging curiosity and giving them the chance to experience aviation first-hand.
A fantastic day of discovery for Year 2 – and perhaps a little inspiration for some future pilots and engineers!
