Year 5 and 6 Shine in Oliver with a Twist

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils delighted audiences with their wonderful production of Oliver with a Twist, showcasing their creativity, confidence and teamwork.

The acting was superb, with each pupil bringing their character to life with enthusiasm and confidence. The songs and lively dance routines highlighted the children's talent and commitment, while the costumes helped transport the audience into the heart of the story.

Mrs Dryland said: “I am so proud of every single girl. They worked incredibly hard, supported each other brilliantly and really grew in confidence throughout the rehearsals. It was such a joy to watch them perform and see how much they enjoyed it.”

The pupils themselves were equally enthusiastic about the experience. One Year 5 pupil said: “I loved wearing the costumes because they made me feel like I was really part of the story.”

Another Year 6 pupil shared: “I felt great when I remembered all of my lines. I was nervous at first, but I was really proud of myself.”

A fellow performer added: “My favourite part was being on stage and performing in front of everyone. It was so much fun.”

Congratulations to all of our Year 5 and 6 pupils, as well as the staff who supported the production. Oliver with a Twist was a fantastic celebration of creativity, collaboration and the joy of performing.
