Year 6 Students Celebrate Tree Decorating Event

In a display of community spirit, Year 6 students and parents recently came together for the School's annual Christmas tree decorating event. The event featured both poetry readings and carol singing.

The Year 6 tree decorating tradition is a well-loved event at Leicester High School for Girls and this year's gathering did not disappoint.

In the lead-up to the event, Year 6 students went on a special outing to buy the decorations. The aim was to make a stunning tree, and their efforts were rewarded with a beautifully decorated tree that now takes pride of place in the School's foyer.

Head of Year 6, Mrs McCarthy, said, "The Year 6 tree decorating event has always been a cherished tradition at our school. It's a wonderful opportunity for our students and their families to come together and celebrate the festive season. Thank you to everyone who participated."
