Leicester High School for Girls Celebrates Outstanding A-Level Results

Leicester High School for Girls is celebrating another year of excellent A-Level results, with students achieving top grades across a wide range of subjects.

Special congratulations go to:

  • Pranavi, who achieved an exceptional three A*s and an A
  • Sana, who achieved three As
  • Widad, who achieved three As and an A*.

All the A grades were achieved in STEM subjects and Art, demonstrating the breadth of talent among the cohort.

This year’s results include:

  • 100% A* – B in English Literature

  • Outstanding Mathematics results – 75% A – A* in Further Maths and 44% A* – A in Maths

  • Exceptional grades, across STEM and the Arts

  • 100% of students achieved Grade A in Computer Science

Headmaster Alan Whelpdale praised the students’ dedication and success:

Their achievements reflect both their academic excellence and the supportive environment we encourage here at Leicester High School for Girls. It is wonderful to see such impressive results, particularly in STEM subjects, and I wish each of our leavers every success as they take the next step in their academic journeys.”

These results will see the girls progress to top universities across the country to study a variety of subjects, from engineering and science to the arts.
