Senior School Celebrates End of Term with Theme Park Adventures

Following Monday's inspiring Brilliance Festival, where pupils showcased their achievements across the curriculum, the celebrations continued on Tuesday with a whole Senior School trip to two of the UK's favourite theme parks.
Years 10 and 13 travelled to Alton Towers, while Years 6 to 9 enjoyed an action-packed day at Drayton Manor.
The water rides proved especially popular, leaving many completely drenched - but that only added to the fun, with plenty of laughter throughout the day.
Pupils were keen to share their favourite moments from the day.
"I loved it - it was such a fun day with all my friends," said one pupil. "My favourite ride was Maelstrom, the outward-facing Frisbee ride - it was so much fun."
Another added: "Some of the rides looked really scary when we were queuing, but once we were on them they weren't as frightening as they seemed. I'm really glad I gave them a go!"
The trips provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to unwind after a busy and successful year, spending quality time with friends and making lasting memories outside the classroom. They also offered a valuable chance for year groups to strengthen friendships and enjoy a shared experience before the summer holidays.
