The School was delighted to open its doors to the wider community for the Christmas Fair, welcoming pupils, families, staff, alumnae and friends of the School for a joyful afternoon.
The Christmas Market, featuring over 40 stalls, was officially opened by alumna and athlete Eden Francis, marking a special moment for the School community. Throughout the afternoon, pupils filled the School with festive cheer as the choirs performed a selection of Christmas favourites.
The Christmas Tree Festival was a particular highlight, with 13 trees beautifully designed and decorated by pupils. Father Christmas made a special appearance, while the reindeer were one of the most talked-about highlights of the day. Fairground-style rides added to the excitement, especially for younger visitors.
Creative activities were very popular, including the icing decoration stall and the chance to make Lush-style soap bombs, giving pupils something they had created themselves to take home. There was also a wide range of festive food and treats enjoyed throughout the afternoon.
The ever-popular “Guess the Husky” competition attracted lots of entries, with visitors hoping to win the giant husky toy. It was also lovely to welcome back so many alumnae, who enjoyed catching up with staff and seeing the School buzzing with festive activity.
The Christmas Fair was a wonderful way to bring the School community together at the end of term. Thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, supported the choirs, ran stalls and attended on the day.
