National Team Trials Journey

We are delighted to share that Monica Gomez, who is completing a one-year marketing/design placement at the school, has recently taken part in the Spanish Lacrosse National Team trials in Valencia.
Monica balances her role in the marketing team alongside an impressive sporting commitment. She trains twice a week and plays weekly matches for Loughborough University, where she competes at a high level while continuing her studies.
Being selected to attend national trials is a significant achievement and reflects Monica’s dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport. Her commitment both on and off the field is truly inspiring, and she has quickly become a valued and positive presence within the school community.
Reflecting on the experience, Moni said:
“Taking part in the national trials was an incredible experience and something I’m really proud of. Balancing lacrosse alongside my studies and placement can be challenging, but it’s so rewarding to be able to push myself both on and off the pitch.”
