We are delighted to announce LHS' entry has been chosen as the winner of the Middle School category of the Chemical Industries Association’s International year of the Periodic Table Competition.
The Computer Science and History Departments of Leicester High organised a trip to visit the world famous Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes.
Our Davé Family Music Centre was completed over the summer and formally opened by International Conductor Natalia Luis Bassa during the first week of term.
We are delighted Rattle and Roll Performance Holiday Club will be returning to the school for both weeks of October Half Term!
Leicester High School for Girls were celebrating another fantastic set of GCSE results, including 100% of Music grades at 8-9 grades (A* to A).
70% of all results were at 7-9 grades (A* to A), up from 2018.
It's another year of A Level successes for LHS with 70% of the entries achieving A* to B, and 43% of all grades were A* and A, compared to the national average of 25.5%.
Students may collect their GCSE Results from 8.00am on Thursday 22 August in the Pupil Foyer.

For October Half Term 2019, we are pleased to announce Rattle and Roll, who ran a holiday club over the summer with us, will be returning.
Congratulations and a massive thank you to everyone who took part in this Summer Term’s House Writing competition run by the English Department.
The Department were very impressed by the creativity, imagination and huge range of different subjects displayed by Leicester High. The following winners were selected by an independent judge.
Our Whole School Open Morning will take place on Saturday 5 October 9.30am - 12.30pm
