It’s been another year of A-Level success for LHS girls, with 45% of results at A* and A and 91% at A* to C.
Well done to our Head Girl, Riya, who has been selected as a participant on the Architectural Summer School at Kingston School of Art this August.
Six girls from Year 9 participated in this year's Young Enterprise Competition. In the first round, we competed against other Leicestershire schools in various challenges, with the main task being to create a mascot for the Titan II truck for RS Components.
During the Summer holiday 2018 a series of holiday clubs will be running at the School:
CAP Awards are presented only to departments that meet the highest standards in Catering, having been subjected to an unannounced rigorous and meticulous full-day inspection by assessors from the Continuous Advancement Programme. The inspection leads to a grading based on the findings.
Over the last few weeks, the winning LHS entries from the 2017-18 Leicester Rotary Club Young Writers competition have gone through to the prestigious District Competition judging round.
EYFS had a wonderful day at Brocks Hill Country Park hunting for mini beasts in the woods and meadow.

Leicester High School for Girls had a very special guest this week.From doodling, role-play and sharing precious family memories to an improvised reading of Jasmin Skies, Sita Brahmachari brought her stories and characters to life in an exciting, inspirational Masterclass.
Last term, two of our Leicester High School students’ top poems written to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went through from the Rotary Leicester Club round to the prestigious District round for judging against other local Rotary club winners.
We were delighted to welcome our Sir Thomas White scholars in to visit the School ahead of their start in September.
