  • Ready, Steady, Bake! European day of Languages Bake-off and Charity Bake-Sale

    Girls in Years 6 to 13 are invited to take part in a European day of Languages Bake-off competition and Bake-sale to raise money for Médecins sans Frontières, Rainforest Alliance and The Alice Ruggles Trust. Money raised will be split three ways.

    Year of Opportunities
    Given the unprecedented circumstances of the last two years, it has been truly inspiring to welcome both students and members of staff back to School. The LHS community is, once again, alive, vibrant and populated with eager and engaged students and staff. I would like to reassure you that we continue to adhere to Government guidance to ensure the safety of every member of our community. Our Risk Assessment, which has been approved by Governors, is on the School website, and will be up-dated on a regular basis to reflect current Government guidance. As always, I will endeavour to keep all parents fully informed throughout the academic year.

  • Creativity Takes Courage

    Mrs Bott and Miss Stell have both completed the required training to become recognised Arts Award advisers at the Discover and Explore levels. We hope to begin offering these awards in the Autumn term to students in the Junior School in the first instance with the plan to role out to the girls in the senior school at the higher levels once we become an established centre.
